Move commenting on posts from EasyDNN News to EasyDNN Simple Forum

Integration of EasyDNN News and Simple Forum modules

EasyDNN News allows you to comment on articles and all types of posts through the use of the built-in comment system. The Facebook comments plugin and Disqus are also supported. Now, there is a new interesting feature that allows you to move commenting to our EasyDNN Simple Forum module. The whole thing is very straightforward. Adding an article to the EasyDNN News module creates a topic in the EasyDNN Simple Forum module. There is a link in the article that leads to the forum, and in the topic on the forum, there is a backlink that leads back to the article.

EasyDNN Simple Forum 3.0 - [VIDEO] Add documents and images in topics and comments

We’ve just published the new version 3.0 of our popular EasyDNN Simple Forum module. Many of our users use this module as an important part of their intranets, often in ways that are beyond the scope of a classic forum usage. Based on the feedback that we have been receiving from our users, Simple Forum is often used as a simple project management solution and there is often a need to add images and documents in both topics and comments.

DNN 9.2 Compatible Versions of Our Modules and Themes

DNN 9.2 brings a lot of breaking changes and old versions of our modules will not work with it. In DNN 9.2 more than 500 API methods are removed, while jQuery, NewtonSoft, Sharpziplib, Client Dependency, etc. are updated. We’ve completed adjusting and testing our modules with the latest version of DNN. All our modules and themes are now compatible with DNN 9.2. At the same time, we preserved backward compatibility to DNN 6.2.

New: EasyDNN Simple Forum

Not Yet Another Forum Module

The time of forums in the era when discussions and communication take place on social networks has almost ended. We often see forums abandoned and empty. However, DNN/EVOQ CMS users now have a forum module at their disposal that connects the two worlds, classic forums and Facebook. EasyDNN Simple Forum brings all the functionalities and benefits of classic forums where users may participate in discussions as Facebook users without having to register and sign in on the website.
