New WebP Support in EasyDNN News, Gallery and Rotator Modules
We are introducing the new EasyDNN WebP Image Provider for EasyDNN News, EasyDNN Gallery and EasyDNN Rotator modules.
WebP is a modern image format that provides better compression than JPEG and PNG while maintaining high visual quality. This means that images can load faster, pages can become more responsive, and the overall user experience can be improved. Faster page loading can also have a positive impact on SEO.
Until now, WebP support required the installation of additional server components or specific server-side configurations, which could be complicated or problematic in many hosting environments. With the new EasyDNN WebP Provider, the process is much simpler. All you need to do is install the EasyDNN WebP Provider, enable the WebP option in the modules, and WebP file generation will start working automatically.
EasyDNN modules can now automatically generate and serve WebP images from uploaded JPEG and PNG files. This reduces image file sizes, improves content loading speed, and helps optimize the overall performance of the website.

In the new EasyDNN News 14.8 release, we have continued improving the new Article Editor.
Tag management has been enhanced, including the ability to search through existing tags, making article editing and organization faster and more efficient. Event creation has also been improved, along with better time zone handling, which is especially useful for portals and websites that publish events across different locations or time zones.
AI image generation has also been further improved, giving users more flexibility when creating and preparing visual content.
The new Article Editor was first introduced in EasyDNN News 14, and since then we have continued to develop it, add new features, improve usability and refine the overall editing experience.
