Let me tell you a story about a team of hard working computer programmers and designers who make the EasyDNNsolutions team. This story is told from a girl’s perspective– the only girl in the company. For now.
It was a while ago when I’ve read a text about copyright infringement and how people, when lacking inspiration, use other people's words and then they put their names at the end of it and claim it theirs. But why would anybody do something like this? Isn’t the only reason we are writing blogs, the need to be heard? To relive the situations and things and to find that there are others who feel the same, and also the ones that don’t?
We have just published the new 7.5 version of our EasyDNNnews module. The most significant novelties are the improved custom fields functionality, the HTML template editor and the possibility for unregistered users to register to events which require payments.
All our modules have a certain period of time after the purchase in which the new versions are free. The duration of this period depends on the license of the purchased product. After the free upgrade period, the existing licenses can be renewed with purchasing the renewal versions. The renewal versions are more affordable then the new licenses, and they include 365 days of free upgrades for all versions (standard, professional and enterprise).
In the first blog post I wrote, I found it amazing how a story from a magazine that I read 15 years ago first crossed my mind. But today, today I wanted to put the emphasis on content, text, words – the king of every webpage. The words of the article author from the magazine made me think about the influence that some situation had on people, and again, it was that article that incited me to compare it to web design and its influence on marketing.
Communication can be easily divided onto verbal and non-verbal. Non-verbal communication is a way in which people communicate without saying a word, intentionally or unintentionally. The problems related with non-verbal communication are derived from the fact that to decode a message you need to have a thrall knowledge of the communicational source, circumstances and the context of the situation.
In the middle of 2010. we published the first version of our EasyDNNgallery module. After more than 5 years, we have come to version 7. In this version we were focused on users’ experience so we modernized and enhanced the module interface, simplified adding of images, video and audio files. In this version we have enhanced users’ experience when a gallery is used in the Community mode as a social gallery.
As I was reading my usual subscriptions to media guides, I ran across a text about things you should confront with if you want to be successful in what you do. One of the things on that list, actually, the first thing on that list was the fear of unknown technology. If you think that the thing that's keeping you in succeeding in what you do is the disability to make your own webpage or to do any marketing related to your work online, that's where you're wrong.
I’ve asked myself a lot of times, how to make content that will suit people’s needs, to be something worth of reading, sharing, something that will people find interesting to study and where they will find a solution for their problems. Because, solely from a psychological perspective, people hardly involve in something that doesn’t bring them some kind of gain. That’s why marketers emphasize that you don’t sell your products or service anymore, but you are selling the solution for people’s needs.
Our new module that enables simple adding of Google maps, adding markers, filtering by location (store location function) and detection of user location has already been enriched with a few very significant new features.
