We have just released the new 14.6 version of our popular EasyDNN News module. This release brings a new set of improvements that further position EasyDNN News and DNN as a premium platform for all kinds of article publishing.

A special focus of this article is the integration with the EasyDNN Gallery module, which introduces a range of highly useful and much-needed features, such as different gallery types, inserting galleries directly into article text, and much more.

EasyDNN News and EasyDNN Gallery integration – a whole new level of image and gallery display

For this integration to work, the EasyDNN Gallery module needs to be installed on the website where you use EasyDNN News.

Here is an overview of the benefits this powerful integration brings.

DIFFERENT GALLERY TYPES

On its own, EasyDNN News supports one gallery type. However, when integrated with the EasyDNN Gallery module, you gain access to a wider range of gallery display options.

These include Chameleon (slide gallery), Gravity (thumbnail gallery), and Zero Gravity Gallery, which offers multiple display modes, including grid thumbnail view (JustifiedGallery) and slide view (Swiper gallery).

There are also various options for adjusting image dimensions, lightbox type, title and description display, and more.

SHARED GALLERY

The Shared Gallery is designed for images you frequently use across multiple articles. Instead of uploading the same image again, you can simply add it from the Shared Gallery.

INSERT GALLERIES ANYWHERE WITHIN THE TEXT

Using the token visible in the Article Editor, you can insert an entire gallery anywhere within the article text, not just a single image. Galleries from other articles are also supported. You can see an example of a gallery inserted into the article text below.

GALLERY POSITION CONTROL

If integration with the EasyDNN Gallery module is enabled, you can also control the gallery position within the article, for example above the title, below the title, or at the end of the text. The gallery position is defined using a token within the Article HTML template.

REUSE GALLERIES FROM OTHER ARTICLES

Integration with EasyDNN Gallery allows you to add a gallery from any previously created article. You can add one or multiple galleries.

SET THE MAIN ARTICLE IMAGE FROM EXISTING GALLERIES

In addition to adding galleries from previous articles, you can also select an image from a gallery used in another article as the main article image.

GENERATE IMAGES WITH AI

The integration also enables AI image generation directly within the Article Editor interface. To use this feature, you need to enter your OpenAI API key in the module settings.

ADVANCED GALLERY MANAGEMENT

Integration with the EasyDNN Gallery module also brings advanced gallery management, allowing you to manage existing galleries, create new ones, upload images to existing galleries, and more.
