Publishing limits in EasyDNNnews module

The EasyDNNnews module has a wide range of applications and it is often used for catalogs, directories or classifieds. When using it in such a way, there comes to the need of setting the limits to the number of articles/posts that a user can publish. In the version 7.6 we have added the possibility of adjusting the publishing limits. Here is everything that is possible.

For each DNN role, after we have enabled it to add articles in the permissions, it is possible to adjust the publishing limit.
 

Maximum number of articles – set the number of articles that a user can add

Maximum number of images per article – set the number of images that a user can add to an article gallery

Maximum number of videos per article – set the number of videos that a user can upload to an article gallery

Maximum number of audios per article – set the number of audios that a user can add to an article gallery

Maximum number of documents per article – set the number of documents that a user can add to an article (this refers to using the document management option in the module – learn more)

Maximum number of links per article – set the number of links that a user can add to an article (this refers to using the link management option in the module – learn more)

Maximum number of tags per article – set the number of tags that a user can add to an article

Maximum number of categories per article – set the maximum number of categories that can be added to an article

Set expire date – here you can set how long the article will be visible before it expires
 

 

How to adjust the publishing limits

In EasyDNNnews > Settings > Permissions

1. Allow to a DNN role to add articles to one or more categories. Then the Set limits button will appear.
2. Click on Set Limits and adjust the limits
3. Click on the Save settings button or Save & Close to save the changes
