8 out-of-box themes in the EasyDNNnews 7.2

In the version 7.2 of the EasyDNNnews module we added the new Ozone theme with a variety of templates and 10 predefined styles and now the EasyDNNnews comes with 8 out-of-box themes. The newest Ozone theme is a modern and beautiful theme that will perfectly fit in the majority of web sites. It is also possible to stylize it according to your needs with a help of our StyleWizard module. The examples of Ozone themes can be found at the bottom of this article.

Built-in themes

When we talk about the EasyDNNnews out-of-box themes we talk about the designs related to the elements of the EasyDNNnews module. These themes can be combined with different DNN site themes (skins).

Our design team works hard on the new themes for all our modules, so we periodically add new themes in the EasyDNNnews module. Currently the EasyDNNnews module comes with 8 themes among which you can find the one that best suits your needs.

A theme can be easily chosen in the module settings:

 

SyleWizard module – stylize themes without CSS coding

To be able to stylize our built-in themes, you don't have to be advanced in CSS. Actually, you don't have to know CSS at all. Our StyleWizard module enables you in a very simple way to change fonts, colors, shades… The StyleWizard module is a very advanced tool and it enables you to do a very precise adjustment of all CSS properties.

The StyleWizard module comes with the EasyDNNnews module, it is placed in the zip package, and it is necessary to install it separately. Then you need to add it to a page where the EasyDNNnews module is.

Create your own news themes

If you are advanced in HTML and CSS then you can create your own themes from the ground or you can use some of our existing themes and modify them according to your needs. The EasyDNNnews module uses HTML templates based on tokens for displaying article lists and article details (but also other elements such as category menu, tags…). This enables you to have a complete control over the layout of an article and the design.
